There is no monopoly in the Rabbi industry. There never was and there never will be. Incidentally, many Rabbis have agreed 100% to this process including Rabbi Scheinberg and Rabbi Tuvia Goldstein. Out of fear from attack, as you see we have been receiving, they have temporarily declined comment in writing. This will all come out as things quiet down. I was at Rabbi Goldstein personally when he was ready to sign a letter promoting the silk screen process in front of half of his Kollel, when his son-in law came in and begged him on behalf of the entire family not to write a letter, because of the Rabbi's health and that of the entire family. Rabbi Scheinberg told many people that it's 100% kosher. His son kept trying to stop him from writing a letter for the silk screen process. This is just a typical mafia style monopolization of the Safrut industry. It has nothing to do with Rabbis. Anyone who has seen the process and reads any of the letters will see that the Rabbis signing were sold a bill of goods and that they never saw the real process. There were many Early rabbis (early Acharonim) that argued about Printed Sifrei Torah, and the only real concern was "Chakika," which would not be a problem with silk screen. What comes out of this is that ten or so early Acharonim held that silk screen is 100% Kosher. So I ask you, "How can you go against all those big Rabbis (the Acharonim), and not immediately order your Sefer Torah?!" AA
