slits

Question

Dear AA, I have heard in the past your father Harav Abadi Shlita say clearly and very strongly that slits are ASSUR,ASSUR, ASSUR! So what's the deal with wearing them below the knee and if their not provacative......(a/w's 98% of the time they are) If you could please clarify this for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!

The general rule is there. Let's not overdose on it. Many dresses and skirts you can't walk in without something. You know the general rule and don't spend time on it. If a woman wants to dress in that way, she should do it in her bedroom. AA
