Dear CYA: I thought I heard in the name of your father that smoking is not a " Davar hashoveh lechol nefesh" and is therefore ossur on Yom Tov? Chanan

Who did you hear it from. We said here once that he holds it is assur to smoke at all. Nothing to do with Yom Tov. CYA
