soap on shabbas

Question

I've already seen two questions on soap and the issur of smoothing out a surface, to which you have asked which malacha is violated. I believe its malaben (smoothing), and it would seem that soap certainly is smoothed out when used. Please clarify because I cant think of a better example of malaben than soap.
