While Rav Abadi's psak is certainly good enough for me, people seem obsessed with written sources. For them, I'd suggest a look at Yabia Omer, Helek 4, OC, Siman 27, or Leviat Hen, Siman 82. Rav Yosef quotes many sources, including HaRambam and HaGR'A, who permit soap on Shabbat.
