SOS Pads, etc.

Question

Is it necessary to buy the Gefen brand, or whatever the Kosher for Passover brand they have at the supermarket? Or can I just buy regular SOS Pads? P.S. You might be wondering why with an ashkenaz last name am I asking a Syrian Rabbi my Passover questions - well, I am Syrian and I grew up in Brooklyn. I got married and moved out of town, but we follow the Syrian way in my house. Thank you.

1. Yes SOS is good 2. We generally assume that you asked a Rabbi, so we don't judge by name. Most of the information on this site is for Ashkenazim and Sefardim, except when noted or as in the case of Pesah, it is obvious. CYA
