why are you allowed to use a sponge for meat and dairy if food particles can be on the sponge?

Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiThe food particles that are on the sponge are not edible, because they're mixed with soap and/or the sponge is not used in a kli rishon (pot that is hot because it was on the fire). CYA
