Question

Does stainless steel really maflit and mavlia? why can't we say it is the same as glass, since we can test it and see that you never really taste the last thing you cooked in a pot (especially after a dishwasher)or since it is metal and we are taught that metal is mavlia and therefore can't get around it? Thanks

If you can;t taste it or if it is inedible or if the taste is bad, then it is not Treif. However, there is still a requirement to Kasher the pot, if it was used for non-Kosher. Are you prepared to guarantee that NO metal retains flavor? AA
