sugar for passover

Question

does sugar need a special pesach certification? Are B&G sour pickles ok. They have vinegar in them but doesn't say what kind? Should I throw them out before pesach, I overbought and cant eat so many!

1) Not if it's pure sugar 2) If vinegar is the only issue, and it just says "vinegar," then it is OK. FDA requiures vinegar listed alone to be from apples. AA
