Does a person working during chol hamoed need a sukkah in order to eat? It seems like this should be a case of holchei derachim, but everyone tries to be machmir and find a sukkah or eats foods that don't require one. What about someone driving from place to place, or while riding on a train? OK, I'm going out on a limb here....What about in a restaurant? Eating out in a restaurant is by definition not k'ayn taduru, since you are LEAVING your house. Do you need a sukkah there?

Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiYou are correct in your assumptions - you would not need to wait or go find a Sukkah to eat. The restaurant issue I never heard from my father so Ill follow up on that. CYA
