kvod harav, is it true that any tanna or amorah whose name is mentioned in the gemarah was capable of doing techias hameisim? I seem to remember hearing this from all my teachers, and i also thought I saw it on one of your replies to all those torah/science questions way back. If this is true and you can give me a source for it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

It's a Gemara, and it was in the discussion between Rebbi and Antininus. Look it up in the Seder Hadorot it will show you the Gemara location. It's not exactly clear that every single one, but close enough. AA
