Tefillin
Question
If one has reason to suspect that his teflillin may not be kosher due a substantial chip in the paint, should he continue to make a bracha on the, before he has the opportunity to rectify the problem?

Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiWhy isn't he rushing to the Sofer to fix it, unless it is the first time he noticed it. Then, he should borrow someoneelse's Tefillin and rush to the Sofer. Either way it needs to be more than just a chip to me Passul. CYA
