Question

are birkot hashachar and pesukei dezimra hiyuvim and if so what about womens obligations, i ask because many years ago a rov told me that borkot hashahar are birkot shevach and not hiuvim, IF i remember correctly, pesuke dezimra confuses me becuaus the gemara says shibchu not tiknu as our rambam has, plus tlhere are opening and closing berakhot, plus here and there a see a katan doing it thank you
