temporary tattoo

Hi Rabbi, Is it true that a temporary tattoo is okay? I thought that a Jew cannot mark his body. These tattoos I am referring to are not the ones you get in the cereal box. These are actually inked onto your arm and can last for up to 6 weeks. They are called Henna tattoos. In kindergarten we couldn't color on ourselves....how could this be allowed?

Which Rav did you ask in Kindergarden?! It's OK, but I hope people have better things to do. If you are putting it on because you are going to visit that Yeshiva you learned in, and you want to get under your Rebbi's skin, I'm all for it. The Rebbi will mumble after you leave, "you see! I knew he'll never amount to anything." AA
