That Rashba of Marc

Question

I don't know that I would be so quick the Bais Yosef's Rashba in Siman KLaD.. The great Gaon HaRav Dovid Tzvi Hoffman recommended that we lechatchilah follow it in Chailek Bais of Melamed LeHoil, #29.. This was years before the OU also, the Mogain Avrohom quotes it in Orech Chaim somewehre - lehalacha. True the Nodah Biyehudah disagrees with it, but it is a controversial nodah biyehudah.. Rabbi Gefen from Atlanta the first person to ever give a hechsher to Coca Cola [and heck, he gave the keynote address at JTS's ordination seminaries - although he was orthodox and a friend of the Chofetz Chaim] brought up this Rashba way back in the early 1900's and realized that the Noda Biyehudah is controversial.. Also Dayan Weiss held of it lehalacha too as did other poskim that I spoke to years ago..

I hear ya! But what did the Debreciner hold?! Shouldn't that take precedence?! Anyway, the whole thing is not an issue, so don't bother all these people with useless sources. You quote RAv Dovid Tzvi Hoffman, your name is Yair Hoffman, why don't we go to another Hoffman, and get these issues resolved. Let's go to Harav Hagaon Rashkebeha"g Rav Jordan Hoffman, Yoshev Rosh Yeshivat Gamla, Yoshev Tachat Yeshivat TAG, Mechaber Sefer Shoshana, Im Haskamat Simcha Ben Chaim Pinchas, and most definately the world's authority on all issues (other than Torah related). Do you know him? I mean do you know him? He's one of those Lamed Vov Tzaddikim, you know the kind that no-one really knows that he's a Tzaddik, but he himself. It's a real clandestine CIA kind of thing. Approach him, and he'll certainly set you straight. By the way, I know a woman who got a Haskama from Rabbi Scheinberg on a Sefer that she wrote. Was it a cash deal?! Love always, AA ...and for your info, look at the previous posting about guns, and watch your back! :
