the zomet microphone

Question

The zomet industries of Israel has developed a "kosher" microphone for use on shabbat. The microphone used is a condenser microphone. I was wondering if you knew more about this and if it is permitted to be used. There is one very large sefardic synagogue that is presently using this system.
