timtum halev
Question
Does a Heter take away the issue of timtum halev? If one has not transgressed an Issur but nevertheless the product eaten wasn't kosher can it still adversely affect the person's Neshama? Tks.
Answer
Answered by Aaron AbadiIf one follows the Mitzvot 100%, they'll never get any Timtum Halev. The Timtum Halev fanatics usually don't learn, they are rude to others, and they transgress many of the Mitzvot. But you'll tell them something is Kosher, and they'll throw Timtum Halev at you. If it is Kosher, and you are allowed to eat it, it can't have Timtum Halev. I say they have Timtum Hamoach. AA
