Question

Showers in Nine Days by gidon on 10/8/2002 10:25:00 AM Why are hot showers permissible in the Nine Days if the Shulhan Arukh says they are not? Is it because in those days a hot bath was something unusual, unlike today?...

The Issur was for pleasure showers, not the ones that we take today to get clean. No going to spas in the nine days. AA... But isn't the issur on tisha be-av also pleasure showers, not to get clean? So why is it assur to take a shower on Tisha be-Av?
