trace ingredients

Question

In regards to trace ingredients, the FDA website which you gave a link to, under item #7 states: "If a substance is an incidental additive and has no function or technical effect in the finished product, then it need not be declared on the label" Doesn't that pose a problem if this substance is not kosher?

The example it gives is Sulfites less than ten parts per million. We aren't talking about items that are possible to be not Batel in 60. AA
