Can you please read this www.vosizneias.com/106732/2012/05/22/new-york-the-great-chocolate-tumult-trader-joes-pareve-chips-switched-to-dairy-ok-rabbi-speaks-out Is it just me or is this the craziest thing you have ever heard? Mind you, we are talking about the equipment that bags the chips, which has nothing to do with any cooking or anything. But my real question is, why isn't what the OK saying apikorsut? To have the OK out there telling people that you have to regard the chocolate chips as real dairy, even if there is no dairy in it, because maybe just maybe there might be some dairy residue. Why isn't this kefirah? The OK is telling people that they must be machmir on something that is batel al pi halachah according to all opinions.
