Traveling for Purim
Question
I'm planning to travel from Israel to the US for Purim. Questions: 1. If I fly on Taanit Esther during the day, do I have to continue fasting until the sun sets at my destination? That would add another seven hours to the fast! 2. Can I give matanot la'evyonim in Israel before I leave (to be distributed on Purim) or should I wait until I arrive and give there? Thanks!
