Truffle

Question

My husband received a gift from a non-Jew consisting of a single truffle, with some liquid, in a jar. It was imported from France, and is labeled "Hediard" as the brand, and "top quality brushed truffle." The jar label lists the following ingredients: truffle, juice of truffle, salt. Is this kosher? We are leaving it sealed until we see your response. Thank you!
