tuna steak

Question

I am often subjected to "business lunches" How about having a plain grilled tuna steak in a non-kosher restaurtant? They serve it "atkins style" without bread. just plain grilled tuna fillet/steak on a plate with a few veggie garnishes. Is it permissable to eat it in a business setting with important clients or co-workers?

The problems would be "Bishul Akum," cooking of a non-Jew, and the other stuff on the grill, or right before. If you can put on the tuna onto the grill, you resolved that first problem. If the grill is clean and you put it on until any flavor is sizzled out, you resolved the second problem. Just watch out for the bugs in some of those veggies (especially in the "kosher" restaurants). AA
