Turning on the oven

Question

Three questions: 1. Regarding my previous question about putting exposed meat in the oven after putting in uncovered dairy, are you saying that I need not wait the 24 hours and need not kosher the oven, provided that the oven is clean? 2. Do my burners (stovetop) have to be on low in order to raise and lower them on Yom Tov, or can I turn them on from the off position? 3. Can an oven be turned on from the off position if there is no pilot? Can it be turned off on Yom Tov? Thanx for all of your efforts!

1) correct 2) There should be some flame, unless it inadvertantly went out. Then it would be OK to relight it. 3) Turning on should be done before Yom Tov, as above. Turning off is OK on Yom Tov. AA
