TV on shabbos

Question

Rabbi, You are awesome, I'm a big sports fan and it used to really bother me when I couldn't watch big games on friday night and shabbos, are u telling me that I can start putting my TV on a timer and watch these games? and I can watch a movie after my friday night meals? This would really be oneg for me.
