Tznius and Pas Akum

Question

1. You wrote that theres no inyan of tznius of girls in front of girls, doesn't this contradict that which the shulchan aruch discusses in siman 1 sief 2( I think thats the right sief) about a man being tznius when he's alone in a room? 2. When the shulchan aruch suggests being machmir on pas akum during the aseres yimei teshuva is that a chumra we should take on, or is it only after we've reached that level? Thanks.

1) There are limits and there are limits. Common sense required (not included). 2) Only upon being on that level. You'll notice that we all frantically scramble to do all those wonderful customs like spinning the chicken, Tashlich, Pat Akum, avoiding all nuts, and so on, because these are all there to remind us to do Teshuva (repentance). Yet we hardly put much efforts into actually doing Teshuva.....or even to look into our actions to try to identify our faults. But keep those customs coming. Give me that fish-head.......how many new fruits do you use at your table? Why? I have a hundred..... AA
