if i am the father and the doctor usually cuts the cord, but occassionally they offer the father to cut the cord using a medical type of scissors. it is medically neccessary but can the husband/father of the child cut the cord? would it be prohibited as one of the HARHAKOT of niddah?

If it is medically needed it is OK. The entire concept is a bit foreign to me. AA
