Hello and thanks for all the time you give everyone. Here's my question: Is their a source (I am not excpecting you to necessarily provide me with one) for not purchasing items for an unborn baby? Ebveryone says one shouldn't buy things for the baby before it arrives. I'm curious if it's just "talk" like many customs people follow. Is it an Ayin Hara? Is there even such a thing as Ayin Hara? Thanks!

There is such a thing as Ayin Hara, but this one is a superstition that I am not aware of any legitimate source. If anyone knows of a source, I look forward to hearing it. Until then ignore it. AA
