Unsolicited Advise

Question

A word of unsolicited advice from Unk. It seems to me that this site is drifting a bit far from its original purpose. While bashing Lakewood, hechsheirim, silly rabbis and other assorted detours on the way to the Final Geula may be justified (and good exercise), the original stated purpose of the site was to provide definitive psak for specific practical sh’eilos in day-to-day life al pi HaRav Yitzchok Abadi, shlita. While there certainly is (and if there isn’t, there should be) a place for venting on all those things that are preventing Moshiach from coming, this site should stick to its roots. “ Ya got a sh’eila? Ask! we’ll answer. If ya ask nice, we’ll even cite the sources. If you’re gonna be snotty, though, get lost!” Perhaps another website could be hosted for venting. Maybe two, one positive, one negative. It’s easy to do and it would serve two purposes. It would allow those with comments to make them at length, and it would make it easier for people with questions to get answers or search the site for a particular subject. It would also save AA’s and CYA’s time. Anyway, Good Shabbos and a Freilich’n Channukah. Unk

You are 100% right. But on the other hand, it is very important for people knee deep in ...Lakewoody environments to be able to vent. Rather than restrict it, we will be Revamping this site to allow for seperate forums, and many new components. I would love your input on any ideas for this renewed website, and I would love everyone else to email me (below) their ideas. This somehow became a haven for Jews & non-Jews to get to the truth and to get honesty, let's keep adding. I have already fifty ideas cooking. I'm looking for input & feedback. Even some good respectful criticism. AA
