Question

In one of your answers you spoke of going into the restaurant kitchen and using the fish bowl to cook a kosher fish. But since this bowl has been used for non-kosher fish (perhaps even immediately prior to you using it) isn't this a problem. If not, why not? Thanks.

We have explained this over and over. Stam Keilim Ainum Benei Yomam. & Noten Taam Lifgam.... Look it up, it's all there in your Shulchan Aruch.... Note! It is ideal to kasher the pot if it so requires. It takes two minutes to boil water with it covered until it is steamed up & then rinse under cold water. If you did not Kasher it, or if someone cooked in it already, the food is 100% kosher, anyway. Look at our "laws of Kashering" for more Kashering Laws. AA
