Shalom LeKulam! The FDA requires all Vanilla Extract to have at least 35% ethyl alcohol (see below) . Do we consider this 35% batel because grain alcohol is only a minhag for us sephardim? In extract the content of ethyl alcohol is not less than 35 percent volume and the content of vanilla constituent, as defined in Sec. 169.3(c), is not less than one unit per gallon.

The products listed are confirmed by the manufacturer to contain no Chametz at all. I'm looking into what you sent me. I'll get back to you on it shortly. But the item is OK, anyway. I'm back Look thoroughly at the FDA website & you will see that any ingredient that has sub ingredients, must be listed with it's sub ingredients in parentheses. The vanilla extract used as an ingredient is without alcohol, unless specified. AA
