vegetarian vs vegan

Question

Dear Rabbi, I appologise if I seem like I`m criticizing, but, you said A vegetarian restaurant will close down if there is a bit of meat, fish, or cheese in there. Vegetarians usully eat dairy, and nearly every vegetarian restaurant serves dairy including cheese. The V sign on European Products, only means dead animal free, not dairy free. A kosher pizza store is considered vegetarian, where the only veggies available usually, are tomato sauce and sliced olives!!!!! Perhaps you were thinking of Vegan? Which would be dairy ( and egg) free? And most vegans I know don`t hold by batel shishim!!!! Great work, Martin

That's fine. I never did hear of a "V" sign. Sounds interesting. The main point is that in today's world if they advertise milk-free, or wheat-free, or anything-free, they are very careful. AA
