Waiting to light Hanukah
Question
Tuesday nights my wife works late (1pm to 10pm). Zeman for hadlaka is around 5:00pm in Montreal. Should I wait for my wife and light at later time or light at the right zeman, (given that the first night is on a Tuesday night)? Tizkou lemitsvot

Answered by Aaron AbadiLight when everyone is normally home. That would be the correct lighting time. The old way was to light early because we lit for the people in the street walking by. The people usually came home from work at sunset. Today we light indoors for our families. AA
