Washing for bread while backpacking
Question
I backpack, and am often in a situation where I am far from water to wash, but I am also carrying water in my backpack. But I need the water in my backpack for drinking. I could carry more water, but water is very heavy, and the shulchan aruch doesn't say that when you are traveling you should have been carrying water--it just says if you are more than 4 mil away you can eat if you are very hungry. So when can I eat without washing?
Answer
Answered by Aaron AbadiIf you are watching that your hands don't get dirty, as we all usually do, then you can rely on the morning washing. Look it up in Shulchan Aruch. Don't tell anyone, though. Lol AA
