Water Guns

Question

In order to help me wake up in the morning on time ( to go to minyan ), I bought my wife a water gun to shoot water at me ... ( think: splashing your face with water, but the sink comes to you ! ) Does Rabbi Abadi hold this is allowed during Nidda ? Thank you.
