Water Urn

Even if an urn is unplugged, the urn remains a keli rishon and, if you add cold water, it will be cooked immediately. Am I correct to assume that when you said "off", you meant that the water already inside the urn was not hot either?

Answered by Chaim Yisrael Abadinope. The water in the urn could be hot, but it will be cooled as soon as the new water is added, so there is no cooking issues. We are not talking a bout an urn that has alot of water. CYA
