Wearing the kippa

Question

I once heard somewhere that if one is under a roof he doesn't need to wear his keepa head covering. I also heard that this was referring to one's own house. Can you please clarify? Thanks!

I never heard of it. My father probably heard of it, but he surely does not hold that way CYA
