Week of Tisha be-Av

Question

I read the laws but there is nothing in them about taking a hot shower. Is this permissible, since today it is not considered anything special? Also, when it comes to changing clothes, which the rabbi urges, does this include freshly laundered clothes. Although the Shulhan Arukh says this shouldn't be done, it seems that no one pays attention to this anymore, and most people even do the laundry (I have heard that today since we just throw it into the machine it's not such a big deal). Are all of us who wear fresh clothes and wash our clothes in error?
