what is bishul

You stated... http://www.kashrut.org/forum/viewpost.asp?mid=3408 "If it is off & will go on later, you can put raw chicken in and cook it on Shabbat" If food can be cooked on Shabbat, then what is the prohibition of 'bishul' refer to? Thank you

Do you really need me to answer this? Bishul is when you have a fire on the stove and you take raw chicken and you put it into a pot onto that fire, and it cooks and an hour later you have delicious cooked chicken. That's Bishul! Is this a trick question?! AA
