Wines

Question

Aren't all wines these days made completely by machines? everything from picking the grapes all the way until the bottling of the wine. At what point can we consider all wines to be kosher?

We thought that too. So we made a trip to the wineries on Eastern Long Island, NY, and found that they have hoses going from the tanks to and from the casks and during that process they touch the wine. The basic issue is that when changing the hose it contains 5-6 bottles of wine and they need to salvage that into open pails. Maybe some very cheap wines that are mass produced have no touching. It remains to be researched. AA
