women covering hair

Where is the source that women can uncover their hair in a house? Also you mentioned that it is ok with relatives around etc. what about friends (other couples)? Thanx!

Answered by Aaron AbadiFrom the Halachic (Jewish Law) standpoint it is permitted, however a woman should be careful not to do it, since people will assume she is not fully observant. Socially it can cause problems. AA
