Answered by Aaron AbadiYou are correct with your question. The big problem is not the "man's clothing" issue, but rather the Minhag. In most of our religious communities, it is not acceptable. This was probably the case with men wearing pants during the transition from skirts and dresses for men. Be patient! Give them a few thousand years. Aaron Abadi
