Work cruise

Question

I love your site!!!!!! My issue here is work related. My work is sponsering a cruise with an open bar one night this week. I would really like to go but one of my coworkers who is also a frum jew is not going as she feels it is inappropiate to go the week before rosh hashana. It wont jeopordize my job if I don't go but I feel it would contribute to my relationship with my coworkers. WHAT SHOULD I DO?????????

Believe in Hashem, that He sends you parnassa, not some supervisor or coworker. Until you come to that realization, you will always have these kind of dilemmas. 'If I don't shake this ladies hand, I won't get the contract or the sale.' It is bologna!(here comes Lingo) CYA
