Question
Dear ALL I CAN SAY IS, I can't figure out why you would have tickets to the playoffs in the first place!!! Don't you know that the Rav holds that one may not go to a ballgame?! You can't just take the "koolahs"(leniencies) and not the "chumras" (stringencies)! Martin One more example of how we Jews (as individuals) often do things that our Rabbis tell us not to. This doesn't make us "bad" or "non-believers"...just human. Martin, I hope that when you look in the mirror you see someone who does EVERYTHING he should. Somehow though, I doubt it. Go SOX!!
Answer
Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiAllow me to apologize for Martin. He didn't mean to say that you are a bad person. He was just admonishing you for , what you call being "human", allowing yourself the comfort of "often" doing something wrong. This is a reason why people should not give Tochecha. Because, it is not taken very well. I'm sure that when Martin looks he in the mirror, he sees someone who tries very hard and sometimes, unhappily, slips. CYA
