Yashan

Question

I read the message posted 4-12-02 in regard to the yashan being a safek-sefeika, unless one has reason to believe otherwise. I would like to know in specific, the two sides for safek-Sefeika and/or the refernce in Shulchan Aruch where the halacha can be found-for my own knowledge. Thank you Mark S.
