Question

Rabbi, I have a group of Torah students that decided to organize Yoga classes. I'm not quite sure if it is allowed to do Yoga because of possible "Avodah Zarah" maybe from the students or maybe from the teacher that lives based on that philosophy. Can you tell me if there are any restrictions? Thanks.

if it is meditation, relaxation, excersize, or similar, it's a Mitzvah. If there is Avoda Zara (Idol Worship) involved, then it is a sin. I don't see why you cannot get a Yoga instructor that is not involved in Idol Worship. AA
