zone perfect bars

You already mentioned gelatin was kosher, so forgive me if I seem neurotic, but I just wanted to make sure… The following is found on the http://store.zoneperfect.com/site/content/bars_faq.asp website “There is only one ingredient in the ZonePerfect bars that prevent them from becoming kosher. That is the gelatin encapsulated fish oil. All other ingredients are kosher. The major kosher organizations like O.U. or O.K. will not kosher this product because of the gelatin. However, because of the chemical process used to produce the gelatin, it appears possible for the ZonePerfect bars to become kosher and bear only a "K" symbol. ZonePerfect is exploring this possibility.” Ingredients: Soy Protein Nuggets (Isolated Soy Protein, Rice Flour, Malt, Salt), Corn Syrup, Chocolate Coating [Sugar, Vegetable Oil (Fractionated Palm Kernel Oils), Cocoa, Nonfat Dry Milk, Whey, Soy Lecithin (Emulsifier), and Vanilla], Milk Protein Isolate, Natural Flavor, Sunflower Oil, Fructose, Peanut Flour, Less than 2% of the following: Glycerin, Gellan Gum, Salt, Oat Bran, Soy Lecithin, Ascorbic Acid, Magnesium Oxide, Ascorbyl Palmitate, DL-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, Niacinamide, Zinc Oxide, Fish Oil, Phridoxine Hydrochloride, Calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin, Vitamin A Palmitate, Thiamin Mononitrate, Chromium Chloride, Folic Acid, Sodium Selenite, Sodium Molybdate, Biotin, Cyanocobalamin. Is gelatin encapsulated fish oil, the same thing as gelatin, and therefore kosher? Is this product kosher? Is it parve, if not what ingredient is the cause? Thanks
