Apple Juice

Question

My local kosher market stopped selling Mott's apple juice because the mashgiach told them to. The owner told me that he thinks the rabbi found out something new. I thought that 100% pure apple juice did not really need a hashgacha. Does apple juice need hashgocha? Is there now something not kosher about Mott's? Thank you.
