Ashkenazic Megilla Reading

Question

Dear Rabbi, I am a baal koreh who is sephardic but I have been reading in ashkenazic shuls with their pronounciation and taamim for ten years. (I have only recently become the baal koreh for a sephardic minyan instead.) On Purim, I have been accustomed to read the megillah for a specific group of ashkenazim every year. I have only recently considered the possibility that this may not be ideal for me. Let me address a few questions to you: 1) On Purim, is it better for me to read the megillah for ashkenazim with a minyan and then go back and read for myself in the sephardic melody and pronounciation, or is it OK for me to rely on my ashkenazic reading lechatchila? 2) In general, is it a problem for me to be the baal koreh or baal tefillah for an ashkenazic minyan, when they insist on me reading in their style? 3) Is it a problem for me to read the megillah under such circumstances?
