Automatic toilets
Question
Are toilets that flush automatically allowed to be used on Shabbat? Recenlty I was by a hotel that had such (there were others so I didn't use it) and I plan to be there again for a weekend. Please advise if I can use them for the next time. Thanks!

Answered by Aaron AbadiYou can ignore the auto toilet. Use it and let it do it's thing. It's flushing it for the next guy/gal, not for you. You never really know which movement of yours actually causes it to flush. And it is at most "Kilachar Yad." (being done in a different way than the normal). AA
